     Will the MS906BT do throttle body relearns on GM cars and trucks and what years?

     I would say it would be able to do it as you can do it on DS708 and the MS906BT is newer Diagnostic tool.  You could always look on youtube or call or email Autel. Hope this helps

    Thanks for the reply.  My DS708 won't do the relearn because I didn't get the update that has it and Autel says I don't qualify for an update because the tool is beyond the expiry date!  Bummer!!  I can't seem to get an answer from them on the MS906BT so I thought I would ask here.

     I agree with LJS, I did this on my Father in laws Monte Carlo with my DS708 several years ago. I'll check the function list on my MS906BT. But I'll tell you, you can't go wrong with the 906BT. I bought a 2020 Camry LE, then the dealer wanted nearly a grand to add 2 keys for me so I spent the grand on the MS906BT and got 3 OEM keys for 45 bucks each from UHS, Had my part time locksmith friend cut them for me and the 906BT programmed them flawlessly. I've since added 3 keys to my 2015 Camry and 2 to my 02 ranger. It is an awesome tool. I'll let you know what I find out on the function list.

    Thank you!  I'm sure my DS708 will not do the Idle relearn without updating.  I appreciate you looking into this for me!

    When you go to the page that has 
    1) DTC
    2) Data Display
    3) Special Functions
    4) I/M System Information
    5) Module ID Information
    6) Module Setup

    My DS 708 does not have 6) Module setup without getting an update.

    After choosing 6) Module setup the next page has

    1) Crankshaft Pos. Variation Learn
    2) Idle learn reset
    3) Oil life reset

    I can't do the relearn as I can't choose 6) Module setup.

     I didn't see that function listed for any device but I know I did it on an 02 monte carlo, but according to a video I saw all it takes is 2 3 minutes idle sessions.

     Tried that a few times....didn't work.  I was surprised that after a second request Autel is sending me an update.  I'll try this when I get it.  Thanks for your suggestions!
